Good cakes and food

Super good there

The cakes were good, the latte macchiato wasn't. Word should have gotten around that it is made with espresso and not coffee. Another point deduction for the inability to pay by card. This is a must nowadays.

Unfortunately, cakes don't taste good - I've tried almost every cake (within a period of 4-6 months). The breakfast is very good value for money.

We have been coming to the Stadtcafe for ages and have always been convinced of the friendliness and quality. The last visits were, however, characterized by a very gruff tone with the customers and a lack of service. There are 3 stars for the continued good quality.

Quickly and clearly. The perfect place for breakfast with a good overview. Friendly service. Good choice. Nice price-performance ratio.

That's okay, but there's still a lot missing for good

Nice atmosphere, good food, fair prices and a nice terrace. It's very loud inside when it's full. Is probably due to the room acoustics. I also think it's a shame that you can only pay with cash.

Breakfast was ok, but nowadays not being able to pay with a card is almost a sign of poverty. In addition, if you have a voucher and you do not get it before the invoice is issued, it cannot be evaluated! So only one star.

The breakfast is good and so are the deserts. You won't find a better egg breakfast anywhere in the area. Lunch menu isn't great.

Wasn't really satisfied, chicken strips on the salad were cold. In the end, it was not possible to take them with them, even though they take them with them when they are hot. What a shame

Really quite nice, unfortunately I arrived shortly after they stopped serving breakfast, so I didn't get to try that. But what I did have was delicious, I will definitely be going back.

Great cafe. Large selection of pies and cakes. Even onion cake and Flam cake. In summer you can sit outside. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. I will definitely go there again

Very well-attended Stadtcafe very delicious cakes with a large selection. Coffee in many variants and delicious lunchtime table. Meal always surprising. For children small playground. Sitting outside and very friendly staff. You can reserve.

Nice place in terms of location. Unfortunately coffee ist far from delicious and staff is very rude. Will not go there again and can’t recommend it.

Nice place for having some coffee and cake

Good breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. Good selection and it is always rich refilled until the end is fine.

The daily Tagesgericht (meal of the day) is always good value, but it's all tasty. Also coffee and cake served here along with ice creams, all very good.

Comfortable cafe to visit for breakfast. Wheelchair accessible, and good for individuals eating gluten free (allergies in our family).

Coffee and cake very good. Great location in the heart of Holzgerlingen. You can also sit outside and park nearby. Service could be more attentive.

Food was delicious! The staff was very friendly. We had Swabian farmers flatbread. They have some of the most amazing ice cream choices.

Nice place to sit outside and enjoy a coffee

Stadt Cafe is absolutely our favorite cafe in Germany! We frequently eat breakfast there even though we have moved to a new town 30 mins. away. Their scrambled eggs are amazing and cappuccinos are the best I've had in Europe! Sunday Brunch is excellent with all you can eat eggs, fresh baked breads, Nuremberg Sausage, meats, cheeses and more. Reservations for brunch are a must. Their daily specials are delicious and a great deal, too. We love the owners and staff and wish we had not moved so we could drop by more often.
